Weighs more than the hand-tied version
Along the entire perimeter, we have added a 1/2" inch of hand-tying so the wearer can still pull the hair back into a top knot, pony, or braids.
The hair is attached with wefts, which are ribbons, therefore, as the wig ages, the ribbons maybe visible in the back.
The wefted prevent the base from stretching so it will feel stiffer than the hand-tied version

Can I color, tone or bleach Encelia human hair? Yes, it can be dyed a darker color or toned by a professional hair colorist.

Keep in mind that we want to preserve the natural cuticle because that is what gives the hair it's natural in appearance & ensures that the hair remains super soft, shiny, silky and completely tangle-free throughout its lifetime.

Will the color fade? Yes, just like any human hair that has been dyed your wig will fade over time. It varies a lot based on exposure to sun & care practices. Continued sun exposure will cause the hair to fade faster. We recommend applying a UV protectant to slow down the process.

How long should the piece last? The lifespan varies based on care and maintenance routines. On average, it should last about a year and half to two years.

How do I choose the right color? The easiest way to determine what color is best is to consult with your stylist. Your stylist can reference the salon level dyes & then you can send these to us for the closest possible match. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to chat with us below.

Can I use a curling iron or a flat iron? Yes, you can style your wig any way that you want. To preserve and extend the lifespan, we recommend to always use a heat protectant spray prior to applying heat tools the the hair along with setting the temperature to a low setting (250 degrees or less). This will prevent the hair from drying out resulting in a prolong the lifespan.

Can I use hair spray? No, we do not recommended using hair spray. Most hair spray has alcohol in it, which dries the hair out. We recommend using a sulfate free mousse or balm.

Can I apply conditioner to the base or roots? No, conditioner can swell the knots resulting in premature hair loss. Please only apply conditioner from the nape down. If the front hair is dry, pull the hair away from the cap.

Encelia Hair offers FREE standard shipping in the US. We use USPS, UPS, and FedEx. You will receive your tracking number via email after your order has been processed.

What's your returns policy?

Although we hope you love your order, there may be times when you need to return items to us. To do so, please contract us at help@enceliahair.com.

We offer a 7 day return policy - the return item must be in the original condition (new with tags attached, the item must not be unaltered, washed or cut. If the item has any odor or alterations have been made your return will not be accepted. If you would like to swap an item, please return it for a refund, and place a new order.

What is your quality guarantee? After our standard 7-day return period, you can return anything that does not meet our quality standards (material or workmanship defects) up until 20 days after your order arrived for account credit. With faulty items, you’ll have the options below:

· Within 20 days – we’ll replace your item (subject to availability), or give you your money back.

If you originally purchased with a discount or offer, we will adjust the refund accordingly.

How do I request a returns label?

Please allow up to 10-15 days for your returned package to reach us. We’ll send you an email as soon as your refund has been processed.

Do you offer exchanges?

We don’t offer exchanges, but there’s no need to worry. Simply return your item(s) for a refund and place a new order online, where you can see up to date stock and delivery information.

When will I receive my refund? A full refund will be provided to the original method of payment after we have received, inspected and confirmed that the returned item was not altered in anyway. The review process can take up to 5-7 business days to finalize. Most financial institutions can take up to 3-5 business days to process a refund, but it could take longer.
